Since her video was uploaded on YouTube, Allie has had a rise to fame. She was even invited to come on The Ellen Show. Unfortunately, the offer was turned down. Her father says she just needs to be a kid.
“There’s been a few people on to us about different things. She had the Ellen Show in America contact her but she’s only 12 and she just enjoys a bit of busking.”
Allie says she’ll continue to perform.
“I want to keep practicing all the time and singing, and so it’s like a hobby, really. Maybe I’ll do weddings. I’d like to see what happens in the future before deciding anything.”

My point is that I think they use their unfortunate childhood to try and win a sympathy vote. As in, maybe the voice isn’t all that special, but she was bullied as a child bless her.
