Amber Heard Already Has Two Movies Lined Up After Depp Defamation Loss

Amber Heard is slated to feature in two films after losing her defamation case against ex-husband Johnny Depp.

The 36-year-old Aquaman actress was forced to pay $15 million to her ex-husband after a jury unanimously voted in his favor after a six-week trial.

While some feared a swift downturn in Amber’s career, the actress already had two films in the works.

According to Macra, the actress finished filming her debut film, In The Fire, before the trial began.

Conor Allyn’s film, set in the 1800s, would star Amber as a North American psychiatrist who travels to a distant plantation to care for a youngster with’special powers.’

The release date of the film is unknown.

Meanwhile, she will appear in Run Away With Me.

The forthcoming film follows an American who falls in love with a model in Paris before discovering the “criminal underbelly” of Europe’s modeling industry.

On June 1, the world watched as Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny won his case against his ex-wife.

They were at odds when he sued the Aquaman actor in Fairfax, Virginia, alleging she defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post opinion article.

From dailystar.co.uk:

Following the recent verdict, Johnny took to social media issuing a statement saying his life changed after Amber wrote the piece.

He penned: “Six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled.

“My decision to pursue this case, knowing very well the height of the legal hurdles that I would be facing and the inevitable, worldwide spectacle into my life, was only made after considerable thought.

“From the very beginning, the goal of bringing this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome. Speaking the truth was something I owed to my children and to all those who have remained steadfast in their support of me.

“I feel at peace knowing I have finally accomplished that.”
