‘Titans’ and ‘Doom Patrol’ are expected to be canceled

Is Doom Patrol and Titans’ run at HBO Max coming to an end? At the moment, there are several key causes for concern.

As many of you are undoubtedly aware, the situation of DC Comics in TV and movies is in a state of change.

There has been a lot of talk of a comprehensive reboot, which might imply some major changes from top to bottom. We’d urge you to go ahead and prepare for it at this time.

This also means the end of some of your favorite shows. According to a recent Variety story, the two aforementioned series have a gloomy future.

From Variety.com:

The profane animated series “Harley Quinn,” currently streaming its third season, has a major following and would seem to be safe, whereas it’s still to be determined whether live-action DC shows “Titans” and “Doom Patrol” would be renewed after new seasons of both shows premiere later this year — but as with all TV series on the service, final decisions will be made once the seasons are streaming.

Titans is going to start a new season, so it has those episodes to look forward to. Meanwhile, Doom Patrol appears to be returning for more episodes. However, as the studio restructures and attempts to establish a somewhat distinct universe, both of these series might be completed.
