Witnesses observed a man that resembled Laundrie rushing away from his home in North Port, Florida, according to a lady only identified as Jen.
In the video, she believed that he could have run into the adjacent woods.
Jen stated that the alleged incident was captured on CCTV by another neighbor.
Jen responded when asked if she felt Laundrie was in the North Port region on the day he was reported missing: “Without a doubt. He was present.”
It is uncertain whether Gabby’s fiancé was there on September 17, and it is also unknown who supplied the “footage” to the police.
Chris and Roberta Laundrie reported their son missing days after he reportedly informed them he was going for a hike.

It was reported that Laundrie left the family home on September 14 but the date has since been revised.
Steven Bertolino, the lawyer representing the Laundries’, said that his parents gave the “incorrect date”.

Instead, Laundrie allegedly left the home on September 13.
In a statement, Bertolino said: “The Laundries were basing the date Brian left on their recollection of certain events.”
After consulting with the FBI and confirming the day Brian’s Mustang was found and returned to the Laundries’ home, Bertolino wrote, “We now believe the day Brian left to hike in the preserve was Monday, September 13.”
