Chris Hemsworth’s portrayal of the eponymous Asgardian will make a return appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder for a new outing; however, it appears that the forthcoming film will be a perilous battle owing to the presence of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher.
Although the Marvel villain has not yet been shown in any official video, concept art that has been released of the character has hinted at an enhanced design for the live-action adaptation. Although it is reasonable to anticipate that Gorr would engage in combat with Thor and his companions in Love and Thunder, it is yet unclear how powerful the antagonist will be in that story.
Love and Thunder’s official synopsis confirmed that Gorr’s goal in the film will revolve around bringing “extinction [to] the gods,” meaning that he will do anything in his power to eradicate them once and for all. As a result, this spells trouble not just for Thor, but for Russell Crowe’s Zeus as well.
Now, as the film’s release inches closer, a new rumor has teased what Gorr will look like in the final version of the movie.
During the latest episode of the John Campea Show, movie insider John Campea and several hosts shared new details about Christian Bale’s upcoming MCU debut as Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Robert Meyer Burnett: “And you and I have seen pictures [of Gorr].
John Campea: “Oh yeah, we got footage of Gorr! We have it and we are not sharing with people because I got in trouble for that before. And oh my god, when you guys see Christian Bale as Gorr, oh my god… because what we saw was straight up freaky, it is a thing right out of nightmares.”
Erin Cummings: “Yes, I saw the photo, I’ve had nightmares like every night ever since. It is absolutely terrifying.”
