To say the least, Cocaine Bear appears to be one of the most interesting flicks in recent memory.
Elizabeth Banks’ piece depicts what might happen if an American black bear inadvertently took a ton of cocaine and went on a violent rampage.
Although the title largely speaks for itself, the film will nonetheless try a “character-driven” tale.
“Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild thriller finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow… and blood,” according to the official synopsis.
When it hits cinemas, the complete film is guaranteed to be as absurd as it is entertaining. The new official trailer from Universal Pictures is included below.
