At some point, Angelica told Mel B that she is her favorite judge, much to Simon’s disappointment. So disappointed, in fact, he pressed his buzzer as Mel B was going up the stage to give the little girl a hug.
Let’s face it, he is the only who can actually sing among all of them so of course she should take that. Also, Simon has been getting all the love from the contestants so it’s a breath of fresh air to mix it up every now and then.
Of course, Angelica got four yeses from the judges who could not be more thrilled to see her in the next round.
