Danny DeVito’s Animated Series Little Demon Labeled as ‘EVIL’ by U.S. Congressman

The cartoon series Little Demon has sparked criticism from a U.S. Congressman who is now urging parents not to expose their children to the show.

Little Demon, which premiered on FXX in August, stars Danny DeVito as Satan, with his daughter Lucy DeVito co-starring as his teenage daughter, Chrissy.

Aubrey Plaza also appears as Chrissy’s mother, who attempts to let her daughter live as regular a life as possible despite the fact that she is the Antichrist.

According to his official Facebook profile, U.S. Congressman Mike Johnson lodged a formal complaint against the show, which has now gone viral. Johnson stated in the article that the “most unsettling element” of the LSU game he saw was a commercial for Little Demon that ran during a commercial break.

Johnson went on to criticize previous positive reviews of the program and warned other parents about its presence, should their own children be exposed to the “obviously wicked” series.

“I couldn’t get to the remote fast enough to shield my 11-year-old from the preview, and I wonder how many other children were exposed to it—and how many millions more will tune in to the new series, owned and marketed by DISNEY,” Johnson said. “The trailer included dark images of Hell, demons, and satanic imagery, and an explanation that the main character is… the Antichrist(!).”
