During the filming on set of her new Netflix show, Christmas on the Square, the who is 74-years-old now, was looking for one of her young costars.
Talia Hill, the youngest of the 3 kids who are in the holiday movie, told Inside Edition that when shooting, she went out to get a cup of hot chocolate until the filmmakers requested the cast members to return to their marks.
As she walked back, the young actress said she noticed someone literally catch her and drag her back from the on-coming car that was heading right for her.
“I looked up and it was Dolly Parton,” she told the outlet. “I was like, surprised, I was like [gasp].”
“And she’s like, ‘Well, I am an angel, you know,’ ” Talia, 9, added of her interaction with the country music icon. “Cause she plays an angel in the movie. And I was in shock. She hugged me and shook me and said, ‘I saved your life!’ “
