This week, Elvis Presley returned to the stage! The group Metaphysic surprised the judges and the audience at the America’s Got Talent finale by employing deepfake technology of the renowned Elvis.
This artificial intelligence technology is used by the group to bring acts back to life when they sing.
Previously, the troupe transformed AGT judge Simon Cowell into an opera singer for the night. They resurrected Elvis and sang “Hound Dog” and “You’re the Devil in Disguise” with deepfake Simon, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara as support vocalists.
Heidi said after the entertaining performance, “It’s really fantastic. It’s fantastic. First and foremost, let’s speak about how fantastic I was. I was incredible. I was incredible. I’m not sure I’ve ever sounded better in my life.”
