The first look for HBO’s “The Last of Us,” starring Pedro Pascal, has been released.
The HBO series, based on the iconic PlayStation video game of the same name, takes set 20 years after contemporary society has been wiped out by a deadly virus.
Joel, a tough survivor, is paid to smuggle Ellie, played by “Game of Thrones” actress Bella Ramsey, out of a tyrannical quarantine zone.
What begins as a modest task quickly turns into a violent, tragic adventure as they both must travel across the United States and rely on each other for survival.
