WATCH: George W Bush surprises judges with standup comedy on ‘America’s Got Talent’

George W. Bush made his huge surprise entrance on Episode 2 of Season 17 of ‘America’s Got Talent.’

The former President’s audition was billed as a great surprise for the show’s famed judges, which included Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Heidi Klum.

The former President arrived to the auditions in his limousine, surrounded by security guards.

He then went nonchalantly onto the platform and introduced himself as George. When they saw George Bush in front of them, the judges were obviously startled.

Simon asked him what he did for a job and if he was active in politics only to validate his identification. George answers coyly that he was a government employee who had retired and had been widening his horizons.

George next performed a witty standup comedy act for the judges, showcasing his abilities. He began the show with the punchline “looking out his wife Laura because she was a librarian when they met.”

The former President also made light of his affection for the letter ‘C,’ among other things.
