With only a few months until Halloween, Universal Pictures and Blumhouse have released the first official teaser for Halloween Kills, the forthcoming sequel to 2018’s Halloween. The new film starts up 40 years after David Gordon Green’s sequel, which only recognized the events of John Carpenter’s 1978 horror picture and ignored the series’ subsequent sequels. Jamie Lee Curties reprises her role as Laurie Strode in this installment of the franchise. Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion, and Charles Cyphers as Haddonfield sheriff Leigh Brackett will all return from the first film.
