Chelsea Sloan, an 18-year-old senior with Down syndrome, was overjoyed to learn that she would be serving on Corydon School’s homecoming court.
She was overjoyed and was counting down the days. She even informed everyone. Her physicians and therapists were aware of it. She even notified her clinic’s receptionists.
Chelsea was getting ready for the big day.
She went clothing shopping with her mother. She had her nails done as well.
On that particular day, though, something unexpected occurred.
