Kelly Rizzo has stated that she still considers the late comedian Bob Saget to be her spouse.
The “Eat Travel Rock” anchor spoke about her grief to a group of women who had all lost their marriages on Wednesday.
“It’s like, he’s still my husband, It’s not like, ‘Oh, he’s my former husband.’ It’s like … the relationship is different now. It’s just — it is what it is.” Rizzo said.
Kloots’ spouse, Nick Cordero, died of Covid-19 problems in 2020. Saget was discovered dead in a hotel room in Florida on January 9. As part of his stand-up tour, the 65-year-old had performed in the region.
In February, a medical examiner announced the comedian died from an accidental blow to the head, likely from a backward fall.
Rizzo continued to tell the panel of women how she keeps Saget’s memory alive. “I mean, I still talk to him and have his pictures everywhere,” she said.
