Tony Dow, who portrayed Wally Cleaver in the famous sitcom “Leave It To Beaver,” died on Tuesday at the age of 77.
Dow’s manager, Frank Bilotta, told USA TODAY in an email Tuesday that the actor had died of cancer.
Bilotta and Renee James announced the news in a now-deleted message on Dow’s Facebook page: “It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we share with you the loss of our beloved Tony this morning,” they stated.
