When Iron Man died at the end of Avengers: Endgame…it was truly a punch to the gut for all Marvel Universe fans. I know for me personally…I have to admit I cried.
Not just because we were losing Iron Man, but also because we have been following these characters since the very beginning. And keep in mind, it was the first Iron Man movie that started everything. Without the huge success of the original Iron Man, there would be no Marvel Universe.
And there would probably be no Iron Man sequels and the fan communitly would have never had the chance to get to know Tony Stark played by the incredible Robert Downey Jr.
And we would never have become so attached to him as Iron Man. One of the most beloved superheroe movie charactors in history.
And so that is the reason it hit me so hard when he died. It was the culmination of everything we went through with Iron Man to that last moment.
And so when I heard that Mark Ruffalo recently expressed similiar feelings I would relate.
