Has Marvel been setting up a Wolverine/X-men movie all this time? I know for most fans, the idea of Wolverine returning has always been on their wish list.
Huge Jackman just truly embodied the Wolverine character and his performance in Logan will go down as one of..if not THE single comic book character performance in history. It was that good.
And so while it’s pretty certain that Huge Jackman’s version of Wolverine is retired for good…that doesn’t mean we won’t get a different reincarnation of the iconic character.
‘Emergency Awesome’ just dropped a video breaking all this down and with some breaking news on the Wolverine/X-men return to film that you won’t find anywhere else.
But first…just to get everyone a quick background on Weapon X….
Weapon X is a fictional clandestine government genetic research facility project appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They are conducted by the Canadian Government’s Department K, which turns willing and unwilling beings into living weapons. The project often captures mutants and does experiments on them to enhance their abilities or superpowers, turning them into weapons. They also mutate baseline humans. The Weapon X Project produced Wolverine, Leech, Deadpool, Sabretooth, and Weapon H.
