Marvel’s Blade Reboot Just Added A HUGE Fan-Favorite Actor To Its Cast

After months of silence following Mahershala Ali’s casting as the heroic half-vampire in the impending Blade revival, it appears that Marvel Studios is finally preparing for its enormous project.

Following Ali’s unexpected entrance as Blade in the post-credit sequence of the newly released Eternals, another huge development for the remake has occurred–fan-favorite actor Delroy Lindo has just been announced to join the cast of Blade!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Delroy Lindo has been in talks with Marvel Studios and is in the final stages of negotiating to join the Blade revival. The actor was most recently featured in the western thriller The Harder They Fall, when he played Marshall Bass Reeves, the first black deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi.

Lindo is most known for his supporting appearances in films such as Get Shorty, Gone in 60 Seconds, and The Cider House Rules, as well as television shows such as The Chicago Code and The Good Fight. He was also well praised for his legendary role as a Vietnam War veteran in Spike Lee’s Da 5 Bloods.
