McDonald’s Holiday Pie Reportedly Returning Nationwide in December

With Thanksgiving behind us, we’ve officially entered the holiday season, and although we’ve already seen a slew of holiday-themed food products hit stores and menus across multiple brands, it appears like McDonald’s is also getting in on the holiday spirit this year in a major way.

According to a recent rumor from Chewboom, McDonald’s is bringing back their legendary Holiday Pie this year, but this time it will be available countrywide beginning in early December.

According to the story, fans have begun to see the Holiday Pie at certain locales, but a complete rollout is on the way. This is fantastic news for aficionados of the treat. The Holiday Pie was only offered in “certain places” across the United States last year. A countrywide launch means that the delectable festive spirit will be available to everyone just in time for the Christmas season to begin.

For those unfamiliar with the iconic Holiday Pie, this is what you need to know. First introduced in 1999, the pie is a twist on the classic McDonald’s apple pie and features a vanilla custard inside a flaky, buttery crust glazed with sugar and topped with festive rainbow sprinkles. Even with the differences from the apple pie, some fans have described it as tasking a bit like the classic though whatever you think it tastes like, it’s been a fan favorite each year it’s returned to the menu.
