The first complete teaser for Moon Knight, the Marvel Studios original series premiering this spring on Disney+, introduces a new Marvel hero. The globetrotting action-adventure series, set against the background of modern and ancient Egypt and starring Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector, a multifaceted vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder, sees the ethereal superhero’s numerous personalities thrown into a deadly war of the gods. During the NFL playoffs on the first full moon of 2022, Marvel summoned the might of the Egyptian Moon deity Khonshu to unveil a lunar look at Moon Knight.
The new video, which debuted on ESPN, features Isaac’s action hero and Ethan Hawke’s mysterious bad guy, both of whom will make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts when Moon Knight arrives on Disney+ on March 30.
