For those of us who read comic books whether it be DC, Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, and etc., we often develop attachments to certain characters. Our criteria for such a decision varies from person to person. I myself like intelligent characters that use their intellect for good; Tony Stark or Reed Richards are good examples. However, for the more action oriented among us or those whom simply are enraptured by the way that the laws of time and space are mere muses for some of the most powerful beings in comics, we are going to talk about a few of the MOST ABSURDLY STRONG BEYOND ALL COMPREHENSION characters in COMIC BOOK HISTORY!
Superman One Million
Welcome to my universe.— Superman One Million
This Superman is the one we all know and love, at least he was. While this Superman still aligns himself with truth and justice, he no longer is the protector of Earth. Superman Prime as he is known, left Earth to be defended by his descendant once he had out lived his loved ones. Seeing his wife Louis, his parents, and friends die of old age must have been hard. Eventually he left to explore the galaxy. His exploration lasted from the 21st Century and ended somewhere at the turn of the 700th Century. He gained incredible abilities and knowledge during these travels. Upon his return, he formed a covenant with his Superman descendants and shared his power with them. With the help of Lzyxm Ltpkz (the Superman of the Fifth Dimension) and Hourman, they were able to resurrect Louis Lane and together they lived in the sun.

With great power comes great responsibility and little happiness— Living Tribunal
The Living Tribunal is an incredibly powerful being who has existed since the multiverse came into existence. His appearance is described as such by Marvel’s comic site, “The Living Tribunal appeared as a giant golden humanoid (using a M-Body, created in the Dimension of Manifestations), with three cloaked faces, each representing a different personality. It has a blank space where a fourth face could be exhibited. The Living Tribunal has suggested that the fourth face became the enigmatic Stranger. The three faces made up the Tribunal’s head. They were: Equity, Necessity, and Vengeance. These represented the trinity of aspects of each universe.”
Beings such as Eternity, Infinity, Death, and Oblivion are all in subjection to the Living Tribunals authority.
He is considered to be an omnipotent entity, being more powerful than Eternity and Infinity. His power is such that he can nullify the power of the Infinity Gems in unison.
I am Eternity! Heed my message and remain silent! For none may speak when I am present!— Eternity
Eternity is the manifestation of every universe in the multiverse as one being and the personification of time itself. Together with his ‘sister’ , Infinity, their authority on Earth-616 is only surpassed by the Living Tribunal. Eternity has several children. These include Empathy, Eulogy, Expediency, Entropy, Epiphany, Enmity, and Eon – although the last was eventually killed and replaced in turn by the concept Epoch. Eternity usually only manifest when an imminent threat to the universe appears, like Thanos or Dormammu.
- Nigh omnipotence.
- Unlimited ability to manipulate time, space, matter, energy, magic or reality for any purpose.
- Immortal embodiment of the universe.
- Capable of physically manifesting as any force living within the Earth dimension.
In order to carry out my task, I must anchor myself to a human soul who seeks justice…you will…— Spectre
The godlike antihero known as the Spectre, has aligned himself with several human heroes in his unending quest for vengeance against the wicked. He has existed since the beginning of time and is the representation of God’s wrath in the DC universe. He seeks righteous justice on the wicked and bonds with humans to carry out his goal. Most notably former Green Lantern Hal Jordan, as well as Jim Corrigan, have bonded with the Spectre.

I am the One Above All. I see through many eyes. I build with many hands. They are themselves, but they are also me. I am all-powerful. My only weapon is love. The mystery intrigues me.— One-Above-All
Responsible for the creation of all life in the Multiverse and beyond, the One-Above-All is the master and only superior to the cosmic overseer known as the Living Tribunal. The One-Above-All exists beyond time and space, and alternates between appearing as male and female. Every known being of omniscient power and authority in the Marvel universe refers to the ‘One’ as the most powerful force in existence. The One-Above-All appears briefly to individuals throughout the history of Marvel Comics, and even when the Living Tribunal was once described as the biggest kid in the playground-the playground meaning the universe- the principal of that school would be the One-Above-All.
As Marvel.fandom.com states, the One-Above-All is omnipotent (and presents himself as all-powerful), omnipresent, and omniscient, and is above all cosmic powers and abstract entities, even the Living Tribunal and the Beyonders. Or in other words… he is beyond any known system of strength.
