The universe is constantly expanding and that seems to be the case for the Star Wars Universe as well. Variety reported a new Disney+ Star Wars series is to be written and show-run by Emmy-nominated Russian Doll co-creator Leslye Headland. The show remains untitled and the cast unknown as of yet, but what we do know is that it is reportedly a ‘female-centric’ series that is set in a part of the Star Wars time-line that we have never explored before. At least, not in the films. Perhaps we could be seeing fan-favorites the likes of Mara Jade or Ahsoka Tano make their debut to the big screen.
