Netflix has released the first official teaser for its live-action Wednesday Addams, which is set to launch in Fall 2022. Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) is the naughty goth we all know and love, so much so that she is constantly ejected for her (very violent) shenanigans in the clip.
Wednesday is expelled for the ninth time and is transferred to the renowned Nevermore Academy, where she meets and falls in love with Gomez (Luis Guzman).
The teaser is a compilation of darkly imaginative scenes, one of which has a prom queen-esque Gwendoline Christie screaming while blood falls down on her, ala Stephen King’s Carrie.
