When the rescuers asked if they could also take the mother with them – the man responded with a quick “no.” He was planning on using her to breed again – because he “didn’t like the way these last ones turned out.”
Can you even believe such an appalling response?!
The rescue team left with the Pit Bull puppies -saddened that they couldn’t rescue the mother too. They are glad that they can at least provide these puppies with the loving home that they so deserve. And away from that rotten man!
Almost 4 million dogs are put in shelters every year – and about a third of them have to be euthanized. Adopting a dog is the way to go.
