It’s unclear how the hashtag started but some fans have been pointing out Renner’s personal issues with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco who claims that she’s a victim of the actor’s abusive ways. In a 2019 report from TMZ, Pacheco claimed that the actor threatened to kill her and even put a gun in her mouth amid their custody battle.
Renner has previously denied the accusations and claims his ex-wife is suffering from drug-related problems. Aside from his personal issues with his former spouse, some people also touched on Renner’s alleged rude behavior off camera and his past usage of racial slurs like the N-word.
