Shazam! Fury of the Gods brought the thunder to Hall H on Saturday, with actor Zachary Levi bringing out the film’s first teaser.
“I missed you guys so much, I can’t even tell you,” Levi exclaimed to an excited Hall H as he took in the opening panel of the day, following a Shazam! The sizzle reel was shown.
Several story elements were disclosed during the panel, including the fact that there would be a time leap between the first film and the sequel, and that the villains will be the Daughters of Atlas, lead by franchise newcomer Helen Mirren.
The new trailer for the superhero film was also unveiled at the conference.
DC Films returned to Hall H for the first time since 2018. The studio skipped the most recent Con in order to close it down in 2020 and 2021.
