Singer Akon Announces Plan for $6 Billion Real-Life Wakanda in Senegal

The superstar musician Akon is bringing the Black Panther to life by building a Wakanda-based city. The recording artist revealed his social media plans and is already far along in raising the $6 billion needed to complete the city.

Senegal would host the mecca, and social media people went nuts when they saw the ideas. The kind of african – american-futurism that made Black Panther explode is all over Akon ‘s website. He called it an honor to just be mentioned along with the incredible fictional city. Even more so after the passing of Chadwick Boseman who helped millions of fans see themselves on screen.

Currently, Akon City is still just a fantasy, but this week’s increased visibility will certainly draw more investors in this exciting project.

“The system back home treats them unfairly in so many different ways that you can never imagine. And they only go through it because they feel that there is no other way,” Akon said. “So if you’re coming from America or Europe or elsewhere in the diaspora and you feel that you want to visit Africa, we want Senegal to be your first stop.”
