Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Wants People To Believe Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Are NOT Coming Back

Despite all the crazy buzz going on around the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film and all the excitement around the possible appearnance of Tobey Magurie and Andrew Garfield,  Tom Holland wants everyone to believe him when he announces that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield are not returning for the upcoming spidey film.

He spoke with Total Film about the impending Multiverse spectacular film and the possibility of the elder Spider-Men returning.

Since the release of the first trailer for No Way Home, the hype train has been on a wild ride. Some  fans are adamant that Maguire and Garfield are not in this film.

Holland, on the other hand, simply wants people to trust him in this case. Garfield has been sure that he and the Marvel executives have not communicated. This year, Maguire has been strangely quiet on all things Spider-Man.

Despite this, the fandom seems unconcerned in the slightest. People are anticipating big things from No Way Home, and no amount of downplaying will change that. Despite this, the youngest Spider-Man is determined to give it his all.

This is what Holland had to say about this:

“People don’t believe me when I say that [Maguire and Garfield] are not coming back. But people are going to have to believe me at some point.”

He went on to say: “It means a lot to me. The first time you see Doc and the rest of the characters that come back, it’s so exciting – and it’s such a huge moment in cinematic history. It’s three generations coming together,”
