Stephen Colbert ‘Finally’ BANS Kanye West from The Late Show Theater

Stephen Colbert, the presenter of The Late Show, has banned the musician formerly known as Kanye West from the Ed Sullivan Theater, home of The Late Show.

The ban is the latest repercussion of West’s anti-Semitic statements on social media earlier this month.

West, who officially changed his name to Ye in 2021, tweeted that he was “going death con 3” on Jewish people and was banned from the social media network as a result.

Several organizations, including Vogue and CAA, have now ended their sponsorships and professional affiliations with West.

“I am banning Kanye from coming north of Bubba Gump Shrimp,” he said, warning the controversial artist to stay out of Times Square.

His reasoning for extending the ban into Times Square? “He’s been creeping out the Elmos and they’ve seen a lot already,” Colbert quipped.
