Brie Larson returns to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “The Marvels,” the follow-up to 2019’s “Captain Marvel.” Larson is joined in the limelight this time by other female MCU actors Teyonah Parris from “WandaVision” and Iman Vellani from “Ms. Marvel.”
The anticipated sequel to Carol Danvers’ origin tale takes place after the Disney+ series “Ms. Marvel,” which debuted Vellani as Kamala Khan, a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, the teenage New Jersey heroine.
