At CinemaCon, this was a huge day, especially for Tom Cruise. Not only did the actor announce the title of the seventh Mission: Impossible film, Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning, but the long-awaited Top: Gun Maverick was also seen for the first time. The early comments to the film from CinemaCon were quite good, with many people saying it was well worth the wait.
The film was intended to be released in 2019, but it was pushed back to 2020 due to the pandemic, and then it was pushed back again. The film is now set to be released on Memorial Day. In fact, tickets for the film go on sale next week, and Fandango has just released a new TV commercial to commemorate the occasion.
