Vegan protesters at supermarket meat counters are fairly routine, but things got strange when a group of vegans decided to throw flowers on packed meat to mourn the slain animals.
The vegans decided to ‘pay tribute’ to the fruit in a funeral-style manner.
The video, which is from a few years ago but has just resurfaced on Twitter, shows a small throng gathered around a supermarket’s meat department.
As one demonstrator walks forward with three roses, orchestral music plays in the background.
He gingerly sets them on the fruit throughout the counter, which is adorned with a Fresh Meat sign.
Another follows suit, scattering flowers on the right-hand portion.
The individual shooting what appears to be a funeral procession then switches to a POV image of them placing the flowers over the boxed red meat, bringing the 14-second video to a close.
