Social media users are simultaneously sighing and rolling their eyes at “Wheel of Fortune” presenter Pat Sajak’s latest gaffe.
The long-running game show’s Wednesday edition had Sajak, 75, asking letter-turner Vanna White a stunning question that left fans sigh behind their computer screens.
Ashley Fabian is a professional opera singer who won $67,410 in the normal play round and bonus puzzle. However, she seemed to have been caught in the crossfire of a strange dialogue between Sajak and White, 65.
All the drama started when Sajak says to Vanna White: “Are you an opera buff at all?” Then White responded, “Yes. I’m not a buff, but I like opera.”
But that’s when things get really weird.
“Have you ever watched opera in the buff?” Sajak then says. “I’m just curious.”
White responded by saying: “No,” and looks like she laughs it off.
But the internet never forgets as they say and people were shocked and very upset:
