Zendaya and Val faced off against Jacoby and Karina, who were deadlocked at 27 points. Again, according to the rules, the couple with the highest total judges’ score (Zendaya and Val) choose their opponent. They chose Jacoby and Karina, who went with the jive.
This was the finest dance-off of the night, with the two couples competing for the victory. Jacoby and Val were still competing to see who could perform the best double splits after the dance was done. Although the judges praised it, they uniformly awarded three points to Zendaya and Val.
