Netflix has published a new teaser for the forthcoming second season of their hit show Sweet Tooth. The series, which is an adaptation of Jeff Lemire’s gloomy comic novels, is planned to return on April 27, 2023.
The new season trailer is scheduled to continue the narrative of Gus (Christian Convery), the young human/deer hybrid child, as he and his pal Jepperd (Nonso Anozie) trek around the post-apocalyptic globe after an event known as the Sick wiped off most of civilization.
Gus was arrested by the Last Men at the end of the previous season, a paramilitary group that wants to kill hybrid children in order to find a cure and rescue mankind. The new teaser depicts the aftermath of Gus’ capture as well as the story’s future, with new and familiar individuals making cameos.
