With one of the most divisive elections in the history of the world and still ongoing, it was only a matter of time before the political talk clashed with the widespread comic/pop culture fandoms all shapes and sizes.
One of the most popular examples of this clash comes in the form of an incredible fan edit overlaying the iconic portal scene from Avengers: Endgame of politicians participating in the current election in some form
The film which was almost definitely edited as a tongue-in-cheek video with the presence of Elon Musk and Sean Connery, features Democratic nominee (and former Vice President) Joe Biden as Captain America.
The video depicts President Donald Trump as Thanos as the portals open up and other Democratic politicians come to the assistance of Biden…Epic!
The fan edit first surfaced on the account of director John Handem Piette, but a repost of the initial clip is the one going most viral. As of this writing, the repost from @_gh0stn has tallied over 13 million views, over 273,000 likes, and an additional 130,000 retweets, including engagements from some of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest stars.
