1. Spider-Man Classic Red and Blue

Spider-Man’s best costume is none other than the classic red and blue. Though it has been slightly tweaked by comic book legend John Romita Sr., the original elements of Steve Ditko’s archetypal design remain intact.
When the black costume came out, I actually preferred that over the classic look. But when the incredible talents of Todd McFarlane took over and drew Spidey in his original costume, I fell in love with it instantly when I saw the beautiful design elements in a different light. There’s just something very appealing about the webs draped all over this suit. It’s a timeless look that Ditko probably didn’t even realize would stand up against a series of costume redesigns over a span of more than 50 years.
McFarlane’s take on the costume made it all the more attractive and definitely an eye candy. Amidst all the changes in Spidey’s duds, he always seems to come back to the original. And with good reason. It’s the best costume he’s ever worn!
