It looks like Donald Trump has finally acknowledged that Joe Biden won the election in a recent tweet he made.
It’s the first time Trump has acknowledged defeat — eight days since Biden was named as the predicted winner.
Keep reading to see what Trump said regarding this.
About seven days ago reports broke that Joe Biden was the predicted winner of the U.S. election.
But that’s when things got crazy, because Trump of course did not agree.
Donald Trump declared his election victory early. Saying that in fact he had won.
However, there was no hint as to who would take the throne at that time, Donald Trump still declared that he had secured the election. This was a misleading assertion on behalf of the President, who was denounced by the Biden campaign, and other Republicans who found the argument “outrageous.”
Then Donald Trump charged the Democrats of attempting to “steal” the election.
“We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election,” he writes. “We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!”
And actually both parties were saying they were on the path to victory:
According to CNN, this was an “attack” on democracy. White House reporter, Stephen Collinson, analyzed the remarks and concluded: “Trump’s remarks essentially amounted to a demand for the legally cast votes of American citizens not to be recorded in a historic act of disenfranchisement. And they brought closer the potential constitutional nightmare that many have feared since Trump started to tarnish an election that he apparently worried he could lose months ago.”
And Trump continued to allege that the election was rigged:
His campaign even saying they would file for a recount.
Then we started seeing something many thought they would never see…republican’s turning on Trump:
And despite all this commotion from the Trump campaign, ultimately it was announced that Biden won the presidential election.
We all just assumed Trump would continue to fight this result until he couldn’t fight anymore.
Well…it looks like that day may have come…at least the beginning of it…
In a recent statement, Trump gives us a few hints that he is having a change of heart or tune…
He was speaking about the possibility of a second lockdown as a result of COVID-19 – Trump said he’s not certain who will be in charge.
More specifically he said:
Whatever happens in the future who knows… which administration will be… I guess time will tell but I can tell you this administration won’t go into lockdown.
There’s a lot of people out there highlighting that this quote is the first time Trump has appeared to imply that he may not be the next president.
And now it appears to be true, as Trump has just admitted for the first time that Joe Biden won the election.
Trump made the big confession on Twitter.
He allegedly tweeted that Biden won the election – but he’s also not going down without a serious dogfight.
This is what else he said:
