Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City this weekend and is accused of placing his hands on a lady, according to police, but Jon’s team is calling it Nonsense.
According to law enforcement officials, the actor was arrested Saturday morning on allegations of strangling, assault, and harassment. We’re informed officers responded to a request for service about 11 a.m. ET near Manhattan’s Chelsea area.
According to TMZ, the claimed victim in this instance, a female, told police that Majors got into a fight with her and then attacked her. It is uncertain what their actual relationship is.
TMZ also reported that the accused victim exhibited apparent injuries such as a cut behind her ear, redness, and bruises on her face. She was transported to a nearby hospital and is now in stable condition. Majors was handcuffed and transported to jail on the scene because police thought there was sufficient evidence for probable cause. Reportedly he’s presently free on bail.
