This Photo Is Going Viral Online As People Are Freaking Out On Whether These Girls Are AI-Generated or Not

From ChatGPT to DeepFakes, to AI-generated ladies who seem like genuine models. We’re almost there if this isn’t already The Matrix.

Twitter user @heartereum recently tweeted multiple photographs of women in swimsuits and lingerie with the caption, “It is SO over.” The post triggered the typical indignation about excessive beauty standards and objectifying the female form, but here’s the thing: none of these people are genuine.

β€œI mean the machine learning digested gigabytes of real pics of real girls, but these images are 100% computer generated.”

This technology could not mislead most people just a few years ago. There were far too many obvious errors. You must now go through the photographs pixel by pixel in order to locate something out of place. Yet, because it is the internet, someone will always take the other stance.

Where is all of this AI-generated “art” going?

That’s where there’s no good. Yet, I am heartened by the fact that others appear to notice it as well. Thus, even if individuals and businesses will continue to employ AI-generated art, some Luddites like me will always support genuine artists.
