The Will Smith-Jada Pinkett-Smith drama appears to be becoming more difficult by the day. “Entanglements,” allegations of an open marriage, 2Pac – their relationship sounds more like a nightmare than a dream come true, according to some.
As their marriage continues to be fodder for the internet, an old tape from Pinkett’s Facebook program Red Table Talk has emerged, casting further question on their marriage’s health. Pinkett said in the 2018 video that she never wanted to marry but felt pressured by her family to do so.
“Being a young actress, being young, and I was just, like, pregnant and I just didn’t know what to do,” she said. “I never wanted to be married. I really didn’t wanna get married. We only got married because Gammy [Pinket”s mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris] was crying. It was almost as if Gammy was like, ‘You have to get married, so let’s talk about the wedding.’”
