Season two of Star Wars: The Mandalorian concluded in December and had the most explosive cameo appearance at the end of the episode that had Star Wars fans blown away by it and still talking about it even now.
Of course the huge cameo…Spoiler Alert, was none other than Star Wars legend: Luke Skywalker turning up to teach Grogu how to be a Jedi finally.
The show only used Mark Hamill’s face and voice for the part, but Mr Hamill still got credit from the show.
What is also amazing about that special appearance is that Katee Sackhoff had no idea the character was going to be Luke until she watched the finale episode as everyone else did.
Therefore, the obvious conclusion to draw from this is that Mark Hamill and Sackhoff have never actually met in person.
A fan on Twitter asked Sackhoff about bringing her dad to the set and asked if it was true that he was there for the big Luke reveal. “Yes, although we never got to meet @HamillHimself #Oneday,” Sackhoff replied. “It would be such a pleasure to meet you one day, @kateesackhoff It is our destiny…! Forcefully Yours,” Hamill wrote back. “Mr Hamill, I cannot begin to tell you how much you influenced my childhood, which put me on the path that led to this very moment. My mind is blown, somebody please pinch me. This Is The Way,” Sackhoff replied. You can check out the interactions below:
