Cameron Diaz resigned from acting to focus on something she loves more than being in front of the camera: being a mother.
Jamie Foxx, who urged her to take a role in Netflix’s Back in Action, recently lured the actress back into the profession.
Nevertheless, according to a fresh story, Diaz is retiring again after finishing her commitment to the film, following Foxx’s reported “total breakdown” on site, which resulted in the termination of three individuals from the production.
Diaz previously abandoned her acting career after participating in the 2014 film Annie, and she has been out of the spotlight ever since, with no film or television performances before joining Back in Action.
Her acting comeback appears to have been cut short for a variety of reasons. In addition to mentioning Foxx’s on-set tantrum, the Daily Mail quoted a person close to the actress as claiming that “back-to-back 10-hour work days had been a much on her and she hates being away from Raddix her child.”
